It frustrates me and makes me feel bad that what happened tonight could not have happened if I had gone first. It’s like an itch I can’t scratch—thinking about what if. Although all this over-thinking is making me over over-think. Would the same thing have happened to me? Was it bound to happen even if I had gone first?
